About me
I'm Gabriel, 31 years old, born and raised in Santiago de Chile.
I build software because I like making things that are both clear and quietly thoughtful. I care about shaping systems that behave predictably, reduce friction, and leave room for future growth. I enjoy moving between architecture, code quality, and small UX details—treating each as part of the same craft.
I'm motivated by shipping, learning from real usage, and iterating without drama. Community matters to me: sharing patterns, asking better questions, and keeping knowledge circulating rather than siloed. Games sharpen how I think about loops, balance, onboarding, feedback signals, and emergent complexity.
Music sets cadence and focus—whether I'm just curating deep work playlists or dissecting arrangement choices to mirror clarity in code structure.
Airsoft gives me a real-world layer: situational awareness, communication under constraint, and quick adaptation—habits that map to debugging, incident response, and collaborative planning.
Movies, TV, and anime constantly feed my sense of pacing, narrative layering, visual economy, and emotional timing; those lenses influence how I structure documentation, walkthroughs, feature rollout sequences, and even naming. What ties it all together is a bias for clarity, incremental improvement, and respectful collaboration. I value maintainability over cleverness, accessible experiences over ornamental complexity, and steady momentum over hype.
I'm open to contributing, pairing, or exploring ideas—whether it's refining a feature, analyzing a system bottleneck, or trading recommendations for a series, mechanic, soundtrack, or framework worth a look.
